SIMULATION - an art exhibition by Input Output in partnership with BenQ North America.
SIMULATION explores the various kinds of simulations that exist and the conceptual framework in which simulations allow humans to represent and discuss layers of reality. It is through simulations by which humans make sense of the world within the brain and externally within the universe.
The layout of SIMULATION has been constructed in a way that utilizes the glass wall as an interface for the public to experience the art through. Internally, viewers can see an amalgamation of machinery, wires, gizmos, and gadgets similar to the inner workings of a computer. It is in this space where Input Output is creating and experimenting with various kinds of emerging technologies such as projection mapping, 3D printing, body tracking, camera vision, augmented reality, and LEDs, revealing the many dimensions of simulations. Externally, viewers can explore and interact with the art through the glass wall with the use of body tracking sensors, augmented reality via QR codes, and by pure observation.
