The Juneteenth HBCU Alliance, comprised of alumni of Texas Southern University and Prairie View A&M University, is proud to celebrate the contributions of the Black community to the City of Houston at POST. We invite Houston to learn about the history of the Juneteenth Holiday and to honor our nation’s struggle to extend freedom and equality to all people — without regard to race and gender.
Immerse yourself in a vibrant atmosphere filled with performances, pop-up vendors, arts & crafts, a dedicated children's book fair, thrilling games and inflatables, and more. This event promises an unforgettable experience for all!

Barbie has encompassed a multitude of races and cultures. Barbie has traveled the world, fallen in love, got her dream job, fell out of love, got her dream house, and more. This exhibit will tell the history of Black Barbie from 1968 to the present times.

Celebrate the contributions of HBCU Alumni and Black Professionals from every corner of the U.S. This well-dressed crowd of professionals will be invited to bask in the décor, mingle with friends, and celebrate the Juneteenth Weekend.
Performances by National Recording Artist Kevin Ross with DJ Aggravated, DJ Frances Jay & DJ Mav spinning everyone’s favorite tunes.
Complimentary passed hors d'oeuvres will feature fine cuisine from the cookbook "Gifts From The Ancestors Vol II"

Onsite parking at POST is first come, first serve, and hourly rates apply all time.
NO CASH payment is taken at POST. All parking fees need to be paid UPON EXIT online or at the exit machine with your card. There is NO TICKET at the entrance.
