DJ Stingray 313 is a pioneering force in futuristic electro and techno. Known for his masked, high-intensity DJ sets, he’s performed at Berghain, Dekmantel, Glastonbury, and Movement, while earning praise from DJ Mag, Resident Advisor, Mixmag, and more.

Lacing his productions with threads of science fiction, DJ Stingray played a large part in defining the sound of Detroit techno and electro. His first releases appeared as early as 1987, followed by solo releases as Urban Tribe on Carl Craig’s Planet E. Closely tied to legendary act Drexciya, Stingray was dubbed “Drexciyan DJ Stingray” and toured with James Stinson and Gerald Donald. Since then, he's released EPs on seminal labels like Warp, Rephlex, Tresor, Unknown To The Unknown, and his own Micron Audio. His sonic fingerprints can be felt across the electronic scene, and we're honored to host him at Art Club.
